At least theese Acer Ginalla think it's time to greet this years spring.

This weekend I also moved all my threes out from wintherstorage. When(if) they start to grow, I will post some more pictures.

Late autumn Acer

Just want to post a picture of an acer i got. Bought it from Jan Olav some time ago. It's beautiful and it really boosted my collection.

my winter project

While I'm waiting for the spring, I planned to keep myself occupied with some winther projects. One of them was from an idea that I got from Jan Olav. He suggested that I should buy a  liguster. It turned out to be a great idea. I miss my threes, of course. But it don't bother me so much now that I got an indoor three that seems to be growing well. Some of the branches died (to the right), but I think it will catch up during the summertime.

Another project I started to keep myself occupied during winter was another seed-project. I bought several packeages of seed, but it didn't turn out that well. But I got two Larix Kaempferi.

As an  experiment I took inside an Pinus, just to see if it was possible to extend the growth period few month. And it seems to enjoy staying inside in the winther. More and more buds appear, so I'm pretty exited.
This pinus is from last springs seedlings-project. And (as you can see) a Pinus Thunbergiana.

Pinus Densiflora sprouts

This picture is from 06. March. Some of the seeds are alive and I'm looking forward to this spring. I hoped that some of the other seeds are alive too. And then...

Now I got  28 Japanese redpine. All from seeds bought from Misho Bonsai.
