Small Birch update

Just repotted this small birch just before the spuds bursts out. During this summer I hope the moss will spread.

This birch has grown in the same pot for two summers.

I thought it might be a bit tight down there in the pot so I had planned this repotting and bought a large pot from Jan O.

Before I tied it up with wire to the pot I placed it on a stone to make som space. Since this three was found in a crack-rock it has no roots growing straight down. Like you may expect from a three growing in the middle of a forest.

 This was the result. This birch got my best sun-spot on a shelf in the garden. Now it can grow for another 2 year before next repotting. 

The spring has arrived

The spring has arrived to Stavanger
At least theese Acer Ginalla think it's time to greet this years spring.

This weekend I also moved all my threes out from wintherstorage. When(if) they start to grow, I will post some more pictures.
