As allways, when I'm in a forest, I look for threes that has a bonsai potential. This year I came out with seven threes. 4 pines, 2 oaks an 1 birch. First thing is to see if they survive my brutal treatment. If they do, I start working on them. I also had to cut drastically on the oaks' length before I got them inside the car.
